Elev may be used to calculate elevations from vertical curve
and superelevation information. Most of the information needed as
input for Program Elev may be obtained directly from the roadway profile
and superelevation drawings. The input is slightly complicated for a
superelevation transition curve, which requires the user to perform some
minor intermediate calculations. The equations to calculate the
roadway elevations were taken directly from Caltrans Bridge Design Details
Manual page 4.34.
